Blackburn Kennels is a full service dog training facility located in Krum, Texas.  Training hunting dogs is our passion!  We train your dog based on individual abilities and owner desires.  Each dog is different and we are dedicated to reaching your dog's highest potential.  Some of the services we offer are steady to wing and shot, stop to flush, honor the point, retrieving, preseason tune-up and conditioning, and a pup starting program.

My philosophy is to train bird dogs to the best of my ability in a very humane style of training.  I evaluate the dog to see what his hunting ability is and what level of training is needed.  Each dog's personality and maturity level is different.  I encourage the owner to be involved in the training of their dog.
